Focused Behavioural Interventions

Focused Behavioural Interventions

Targeted Support for Specific Challenges

At BASES, our Focused Interventions are designed to address specific behavioural concerns your child may be experiencing-such as aggression, sleep issues, or feeding difficulties. These programs use evidence-based principles from Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to bring about meaningful and lasting changes.

How It Works?

Personalised Goals

We begin by working closely with families to define clear, measurable objectives for success. A mutual agreement (or contract) is created before the intervention begins

Functional Behaviour Assessment

Every behaviour serves a purpose – we assess it first to understand why it occurs.

Evidence-Based Strategies

All intervention techniques we use are backed by international, peer-reviewed research and tailored to your child’s unique needs.

What Do We Focus On?

Focused interventions are ideal when your child shows isolated behaviour concerns that do not require full-time therapy. These can be addressed without enrolling in a comprehensive program.

Examples of Focused Interventions

Challenging Behaviour Programs

For aggression, self-injury, eloping, property destruction, pica, etc.

Feeding & Eating Interventions

To support selective eating or food refusa

Fear & Phobia Reduction

Address anxiety toward specific people, places, or routines

School Transition Support

Smooth the shift from home to daycare, preschool, or school

Sleep Programs

Help with bedtime resistance, night waking, or sleep anxiety

Toilet Training

Develop independence with toileting routines

Social Skills Development

Encourage positive peer interaction and communication

Note: If a child is already receiving a comprehensive intervention, additional focused programs may be purchased separately if the behavioural concern does not interfere with general learning sessions.

Transparent Pricing

The cost of focused interventions is based on the time invested by our team at three levels:

  • Behaviour Technicians
